Objectives

The objective of this study is to demonstrate that patients CF who use a virtual reality device (VR) feel less pain and anxiety during venipuncture. VR would allow patients to isolate from everything surrounding them immerging themselves at 360° in a virtual landscape and to interact with it. Patients with CF aged 6 to 12 will participate in the study. Pain, anxiety and collaboration of the patient will be measured with scales that have already been used. Scores will be given by the patients themselves, their parents, the nurse and a researcher. Results may outline VR as a good way to distract CF patients during venipuncture and other painful procedures.
