Developed skills and lines of research
Teresa Repetto graduated in Medicine in 1976 from the University of Florence and in 1980 obtained her specialization in Pediatrics from the same university. Her first official involvement in the field of cystic fibrosis (CF) was between 1978 and 1981, when she received a scholarship to work on a project related to this pathology. Since 2006, she has been the coordinator of the CF neonatal screening program for the Tuscany region. She has developed epidemiological follow-up studies of children diagnosed in Italy through screening.
