Developed skills and lines of research

Alessandro Corti has been a researcher in General Pathology at the University of Pisa since 2010.
He earned his PhD in 2006, after which he conducted research in Prof. Alfonso Pompella’s laboratory at the University of Pisa.
His research focuses on the role of membrane GGT enzymes in cells involved in mechanisms related to inflammatory processes, with significant implications in the context of cystic fibrosis.
