Objectives

The research will focus on the derailed CF proteostatic environment that is driven by the mutant channel instead of on CFTR protein itself. CK2 protein kinase has important functional link with CFTR protein. The researchers aim at analysing CK2 modulators as a new class of molecules useful to rescue/stabilize CFTR-F508del.
